WiDAQ Product PictureThe Wireless Precision Data Acquisition Node (WiDAQ) is a high precision measurement device designed for remote structure monitoring. The built-in 24-bit A/D converter and low noise high precision measurement circuitry facilitates data acquisition from a wide variety of sensors.

The hybrid wireless/wired capability of the WiDAQ offers several benefits over a wireless only system. Wired nodes act as coordinators for the wireless nodes which allow wireless units to conserve battery power. The wired backbone operates over a robust Controller Area Network (CAN) and permits dense sensor deployments in harsh environments.

  • Available mounting options include a standard wall/desk mount enclosure; NEMA rated watertight enclosure and the ability to flush mount in a double junction box
  • Expansion interface facilitates future measurement sensors such as flow meters, capacitance sensing and additional voltage and resistance channels
  • Wireless communication can be deployed using a classic wireless mesh topology for networks where access to wired coordinators is difficult
  • Battery operated or distributed power depending on application.
